Stone sculpture is unique unto the material itself since no two stones are identical. Collectors should take note that softer stone such as alabaster is for indoor display only. Granite, marble, basalt and limestone are suitable for outdoor display. Penetrating sealants or wax should be applied to maintain a polish and protect the surface from weathering if so desired.
